MainStage Performance Ensemble
THE MAGIC FLUTE *Directed by Lisa Quoresimo, with Sonya Smith, Frederick Harris, John Ramirez and Susana Aragon.*
Grades: 5 - 9 Feb 4 - May 16 Performances May 7 - 16 Mondays/Thursdays, 4:00 - 6:15pm Saturday classes from Feb 27: 10:30am - 2pm as called. Sliding Scale Tuition: $50 - $700/ entire session (Please check financial aid box on application if you want to take advantage of our sliding scale tuition program.)		Mozart’s magical opera MYT style! This lovely musical theater version is designed especially for the students of MYT’s MainStage Performance Ensemble. With forest creatures, tests of bravery, a daughter’s love, a queen’s revenge,Tamino’s magic flute and Papegeno’s bells, The Magic Flute spins a fantasy of beauty and delight. Join us in retelling this classic story of loyalty and love through Mozart’s gorgeous music. MainStage students have an integrated experience in drama, dance, music and visual art as they rotate through classes taught by award-winning theater artists. This program is for 5th-9th graders who are ready to immerse themselves in a full-scale theater performance workshop. Over the course of fourteen weeks, participants will experience the joy of collaborating with other young artists and becoming part of a unique performing troupe. The Magic Flute will culminate in two weekends of spectacular performances for the community. Come be part of this creative and whimsical production. Scholarships Available! Hay Becas Disponibles!

MYT First Stage
THE PARROT WHO TALKED TOO MUCH A Performance ensemble for younger students. *with Sue Walton and KC Chapek*
Grades: 2 - 5 Feb 2 - April 27 Performance: April 27 (Added dress rehearsal April 26) Tuesdays, 4:15 - 6pm $325/ twelve-week session		MYT presents its exciting performance ensemble for students in grades 2-5. FirstStage develops young actors who enjoy acting, singing, dancing and playing a wide variety of characters. A strong and supportive ensemble is emphasized as participants prepare a play for performance. 2010 FirstStage presents The Parrot Who Talked Too Much: a Pet Care Kids Mystery. How can a bird solve a mystery? Join the ensemble and see!!

Classes for Ages 2-6
Toddler Family Flying Time *with Maica Folch*
Ages: 2 - 4 Feb 19 - Mar 26 $115/six-week session Fridays, 10 - 11am $150/eight-week session		A class for parents or caregivers and their toddlers. Come explore a creative playground where adults and children develop movement skills. Adults enrolling in this class will learn to move and dance with trapezes. This class is also available the first Wednesday of the month through Golden Gate Mother’s Group.

Story Theater *with Maica Folch*
Ages: 4 - 6 Feb 16 - April 13 Tuesdays, 4 - 5pm $150/eight-week session		Young children will have the chance to play, tell stories and shine on stage!

Bailando con Trapecios/Moving with Trapeze *with Maica Folch*
Grados/Grades:1- 6 Feb 17 - April 28 Miercoles/Wednesdays: En Español: 4 - 5pm (Everyone is welcome but no English will be spoken.) \|In English: 5:15 - 6:15pm $185/ten-week session		Dangling, Swinging, Flying! Explore aerial dance with low flying and spinning trapezes. ¡Ven a divertirte!

Classes for Grades 3-9
Hip Hop and Latin Dance/Carnaval! *with Rebecca Weisser*
Grades 3 - 8 February 5 - April 16 Fridays: 4 - 5pm $185/ten-week session Carnaval April 23 - May 28 Friday: 4 - 5pm $60/five-week session $225/ full fifteen weeks		Express yourself with Hip Hop, Reggaeton and other Latin dance style. Freestyling and group choreography encouraged. Dance down Mission Street in San Francisco’s famous Carnaval!
